fitting in your car

base AR installs with the lower anchor attachments or your vehicle seat belt, as set out in the instruction manual. The check that matters: once fitted, give the seat a firm wiggle where it meets the car. A correct fit stays put. If anything moves more than a little, take it out and start again... it takes a minute and it is always worth it.

using base AR day to day

Buckle up the same way every time: straps lying flat and snug, nothing twisted, and the headrest climbing as your little one grows. The instruction manual shows every adjustment, so the fit stays right, ride after ride.

washing and caring for base AR

Crumbs, spills and sticky fingers are all part of the fun. Check the wash label stitched into the fabric and the care section of the manual for what comes off, then let the washing machine take care of the rest. Frames and plastics wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, no harsh cleaners needed. One rule above all: if base AR has been through an accident, retire it and replace it, safety first.
